Cleveland Waltz

Our hosts at Cleveland were exemplary, managing to run the Day despite the road closure causing chaos for arrivals.

The team with Viv Thomas and Kath Bean hosted everyone with a quiet calm, keeping everything running smoothly, organising the handicaps and cards for all the players on a very busy day, and finally sending the results & explaining it all to Jo.

The starter was able to explain the format and rules of the day in his little hut which kept everyone out of the wind and able to hear him.

The very windy day made it difficult for all and everyone that entered deserved a pat on the back for combatting 42 mile an hour winds, blowing trollies into ditches etc and balls anywhere but where wanted.

Congratulations to the winners & those in the top 10 who managed to overcome the brutal weather to hand in a good score. There was a battle for 3rd place which had to go on count back to the last 6 holes-Phew
