Dinsdale Charity Day

It was quite a nail biting time leading up to this Day with the weather being so poor and raining hard the day before.


Our President Ann Hargreaves had industriously bought and organised all the Charity raffle prizes and we worried in case it had to be deferred.


However Dinsdale Golf Club made every effort to open on the Day and the Dinsdale Team lead by Sue Kiddle were magnificent hosts organising last minute withdrawals and arranging for the kitchen to be open for thirsty and hungry players over a long day.

Many thanks to them for their kindness and quiet efficiency throughout the whole process of organising and hosting the day


There were finally after withdrawals through injury etc. 132 entrants, all for Stroke play who heroically battled rough ground, wind, and for some rain.


Congratulations to the winners and all those who took part on a very busy day.
