Luckily a lovely sunny day for our final competition of the season.
Everyone seemed to have enjoyed the day & many thanks to Lainey Hunt and her team who organised the event to such a high standard & arranging for Golf Birdie to show their wares & sell at discounted prices.
Congratulations to all who played and those winners who came in with good scores.

What a wet & windy day that players had to cope with, although quite a few teams withdrew and some played but put in a no return after being beaten by the hard conditions.
The course was in good condition, but due to the weather, the greens were faster than expected in some cases causing mistakes to be made.
The afternoon was better than the morning with the rain disappearing eventually, but the wind still caused problems.
However many players valiantly coped with all these problems and came in with good scores.
Many thanks to Sue Spence and her team of starters who were explicit in the type of Yellow Peril we were actually playing.
There were some things left behind including a watch/ wrist measuring device & headcover, which players can contact their reps if they have lost such.

A large field of players on a cloudy day , but at least no rain.
Congratulations to the winners and to all players who took part.
Unfortunately the Pro shop mixed up it's bookings for buggies which disappointed those players that couldn't subsequently play, but thanks to Jill Richardson and her team for handling the situation and sorting out the subsequent field of players.
There were a lot of smiling faces in the clubhouse, which told of a good day out meeting new people.
