A lovely dry sunny day, if a little windy. Some high scores were made despite the number of bunkers there to hinder our advances.
The 2 swans with their cygnets were a welcome distraction to those of us struggling with those very same bunkers, although some chose not to take their shots if it hindered the swans peace.
Congratulations to the winners which caused a problem for our doughty hostesses who had to trawl through Better Back 9, 6, 3 & 1 to find all equal & then found an answer with better beck 7 just for the third place.
Well done to Jackie Price and her team for hosting such a great day.

A lovely sunny day for all our players, although the wind did play it's part.
Many thanks to Susan Town and her team for hosting the event so well.
Congratulations to all those who took part and to the winners.

We had a lovely sunny day with some cooling winds.
The pro shop under Clark's guidance helped everyone with up to date handicaps for cards & Carol Muwanga and her ladies looked after everyone & collected the cards with result once they'd been put on the computer.
There were a lot of good scores probably because of the dry weeks & a good run on the ball & members seemed to enjoy themselves with both the golf, and the kitchen being open, which we hadn't expected.
It was a long day for the Castle Eden ladies to host and our thanks go to Carol for organising the day & arranging such a good set up. She also managed to extend our tee times so preventing the dreaded ballot !!!
Well done all who participated in the day .
