Castle Eden - Greensomes Salver

What a start to our first Alliance competition - a crash on the A19 caused havoc with the tee times!

A diesel spill on the Wolviston roundabout resulted in the A19 north and south being closed for hours resulting in some players having to take long detours to get to Castle Eden. Most ladies managed to get there with only two teams having to give up and return home. Consequently, Pat Coxon, our Rep, and her team of helpers were sending players out as they arrived, regardless of their tee times. The weather was mostly fine with only the last few teams getting caught in the rain, and the course was looking great.

Many thanks to Pat and her helpers for a great job done under very difficult circumstances.
