Bedale - Millennium Cup

It turned out to be a lovely sunny day despite the torrential rain for the early starters.

A few players even rang to see if the course was open!

Some of us managed to see the pure white squirrel with the grey tail- not quite an albino, as well as the geese with the goslings which we had to move on as getting in the way of players shots.

We had 118 players turn up after cancellations by 10 players & the majority had a good day.

Many thanks to Julie Scott the Alliance Rep for organising the event and Jackie Toner the lady Captain for helping her and manning the desk for her all day. With both having competition Secretary under their belts the day was efficiently well run. Many thanks to them and their team of starters for giving the rules explaining that it was a stroke competition and no drop zone for hole 11. It gained a lot of balls in the pond that day! Also thanks to the caterers keeping us all fed & watered for the day.

Congratulations to the winners on a high scoring day
